Get ₹15,000 in 1 Day if You Deposit ₹10,000 Now!

Here is a narration by one of the victims who lost his hard earned capital in greed. Greed to become rich in a month or even 15 days.

Read what he had to say:

“I am Sanjeev Khair and I was a normal trader with a demat account, invested and at times, traded in Equity cash.

In June, I joined the F&O segment and started searching for learning videos on YouTube. During my search, I came across a channel named TradeLikeMe (name changed). I subscribed to the channel and also joined their Telegram group.

On Telegram, they advertised a “Loss Recover Plan,” which promised the following returns:

  • Pay 5,000 INR and receive 15,000 INR after 3 days.
  • Pay 10,000 INR and receive 25,000 INR after 3 days.

At the time, I was unaware that such schemes were fraudulent. I communicated with them via WhatsApp, where they provided me with a UPI link for payment. When I asked for bank account details, they sent me UPI details instead.”

Isn’t this strange. Strange that the victim was greedy enough to believe the offer but was trying to act cautious too.

“Taking a risk, I paid them INR 5,000. After 3 days, I messaged them on WhatsApp, but they did not respond. I then posted comments on their YouTube channel, but they deleted my messages.

Realizing it was a scam, I reported their Telegram channel as a fraud, but no action was taken, and it is so freaking weird that the channel is still active. I have since stopped contacting them.

What do we learn from this incident of Sanjeev?

If, unfortuntely, you are stuck as Sanjeev was, then you must follow the following steps:

  1. Report to Authorities:
    • File a complaint with your local cybercrime cell. Provide them with all the details, including WhatsApp chats, payment details, and the YouTube and Telegram links.
  2. Report to UPI Platform:
    • Report the fraudulent UPI ID (Crystalmoney@Airtel) to Airtel to alert them of the scam.
  3. Report on Social Media Platforms:
    • Continue reporting the fraudulent activity on YouTube and Telegram. If multiple reports are filed, the platforms might take action.
  4. Educate Others:
    • Share your experience on relevant forums such as A Digital Blogger, and social media to warn others about this scam.
