Again, people have lost their life savings to a Ponzi scheme. The Maxizone ponzi scheme run by Maxizone Touch has trapped many people from five states, namely Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Karnataka.
High returns within a short period lured many to trust the company, which reportedly started operations in 2019.
It took the company three years to develop a high corpus and flee. But things took an unexpected turn!
This article uncovers every detail about the scam, from its modus operandi to the way to seek help. Let’s dig deeper to learn what went wrong and how.
Maxizone Review
Headed by Chandrabhusan Singh and Priyanka Singh, the Maxizone Touch has been operating the ponzi scheme since 2019. Initially, the company promoted itself as a marketing venture.
But later, it started manipulating people to invest in their company and earn a high return.

A monthly return of 10% to 20% means a lot to ordinary people who are always in search of an increased income. A peek into their Instagram profile reveals a lot about their ploy to fool people.
Here is another one.

Earnings in dollars!
And that is also in 15 to 30 months.
Who wouldn’t be tempted by that? But ordinary people do not understand that these returns have no guarantee and are completely baseless.
There should be at least an authorised document mentioning the legal terms and other guidelines.
Without verifying their authenticity, people trust them with hard-earned money, giving them an upper hand to do anything with anyone.
However, both promoters are in judicial custody now. Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating if the INR 300 crore corpus or more was invested in real estate, foreign holdings, and luxury vehicles.
But how did the scam come to light lately? Did it happen on its own or through someone’s intervention?
Maxizone Ponzi Scam in Jharkhand
After receiving an FIR at Sakchi police station in Jamsedhpur, ED played an active role in investigating the scam.
The authority started its operations in September 2025 by conducting search operations at multiple locations in Delhi, Bihar, Ghaziabad, Noida, and Dehradun.
Under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, the investigation revealed that the two convicts collected INR 521 crore, which was deposited in 21 banks.
A press release published on the ED portal reveals this information. Here is the snapshot.

The directors, Chandrabhusan Singh and Priyanka Singh, were evading law enforcement agencies, including Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Assam police.
They were buying many real estates through cash transactions. ED also mentioned that the two were engaged in similar other schemes.
Under the alias “Deepak Singh”, the accused continued the scam from 2019 to 2022. They stopped paying returns after January 2022 and went absconding. ED recovered from their premises handwritten notes, fake identity proofs, cheque books, transaction details, laptops, and mobiles.
The Maxizone Ponzi case takes a new direction after ED looks for more evidence, as directed by the inputs about suspects and accused linked to the case.

On 4th December, 2025, ED conducted another raid in three locations, namely Meerut, Ghaziabad, and Noida in Uttar Pradesh, to capture more digital evidence, unearth financial records, and discover new links to the ponzi scam.
The scam also involved celebrities to influence people. Popular actress Shenaz Shetty was involved in actively promoting the scam.

However, the authorities have not reportedly registered any case against her.
There are many accused in the scam, whom ED is desperately searching for. As the investigation is still in process, hopefully the complete racket will come to light very soon.
Modus Operandi of Maxizone Ponzi Scam
The Maxizone Ponzi scheme is similar to other Ponzi scams, but it has been successful in becoming more credible to investors.
How?
By effectively devising its key modus operandi.
- Promise of High Return: Maxizone tricked the investors by promising high (10% to 20%) daily and monthly returns. But a close examination reveals that those claims lack accountability.
- Building Credibility: The two accused were reported seen with various famous personalities such as Govinda, Manoj Tiwari, Chanki Pandey, and Shakti Kapoor. They also claimed that the business is NSE and MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) registered. But, for conducting any trading, the entity must have an SEBI registration.
- Collecting Heavy Corpus: With different types of Ponzi schemes, the business has collected around INR 300 to INR 521 crore. They invested the amount in real estate and other shady ventures while not giving promised returns to investors.
- Concealing Operations: The owners used various layered bank accounts to avoid any legal intervention. Even engaged in different proxy transactions to convert the deposits into cash.
- Evading Identities: Hiding under the blanket of a pseudo-name and changing locations repeatedly helped them trick even multiple enforcing authorities.
The investigation is still active as the authorities are looking for more evidence against them.
