He Managed My Account with a Guaranteed 50-50 Profit Sharing!

forex trading scam

“Are you looking for a way to grow your wealth without taking on the usual risks? Give me your account to handle. All the losses in trade would be mine and profit sharing would be 50-50.”

Amazing offer, isn’t it?

You don’t have to worry about anything and can earn a high profit.

If you are excited reading this, Congratulations, the scammer is going to win once again.

This is another way by which scammers reach out to you to loot your capital and people without thinking once, get trapped into this easily. Victims of such cases didn’t even realize why that so-called scammer who doesn’t even know them is ready to bear their trading losses.

And even if he is a master in trade, why is he working on your account to earn only 50% of profit. If he is that talented, he could have done it using his own account and earn more profit.

Now, there are hardly any cases where victims of such cases think like this. The result is they end up losing their hard-earned money.

Unfortunately, Aamir (name changed) also got scammed in one such case and lost more than ₹11,00,000 in account handling scam.

The scammer asked him to trade in forex and later asked him to share his account details by promising him guaranteed profits.

Further, to gain his trust, the scammer told him that any loss made in the trade would be taken care of by him. The profit however, would be shared in an equal percentage of 50-50. This made Aamir fall greedy and he shared his account details.

Now, the losses didn’t happen immediately and Aamir earned a good profit of around ₹10,00,000 on his capital of ₹6,50,000. As per the deal, he shared 50% profit to scammers via PayTm but after some time he lost his remaining profit plus initial investment.

In simple terms, the scammer earned money by trading using Aamir capital and later blew off his capital plus profit.

When Aamir asked the scammer to cover the losses by using his capital and profit share, he denied. Instead the scammer asked him to add ₹80,000 more to trade and recover losses.

But by then, Aamir realized that he had been scammed. Now, like other victims of similar cases he is also finding ways to get his lost amount back.

Now, the cases of Forex trading are not handled and addressed by SEBI aur any other market participants. Hence the only way Aamir has is to file a Cyber Crime complaint by drafting the whole matter in detail and by submitting all the valid proofs & bank-transaction details.

Here comes the question, does cyber crime refund money?

Well, it depends on many parameters like;

  • Nature of the case
  • After how many days of getting scammed, the case was reported
  • Proofs & Documents submitted

As soon as the investigation is started, Cyber crime freezes suspect’s and the related bank accounts. Now the recovery depends upon how many bank accounts are active at the time of investigation and the amount held by Cyber Police.

It is therefore important to be quick in your actions to report cases to Cyber Police.
