Quick Summary
NSE has cautioned investors about a person named “Mohan”. He runs an X handle and a Telegram channel called “My Trades”, plus a Telegram handle “Moh@n”. NSE says he offers market tips, assured or guaranteed returns, and to handle investors’ trading accounts. He is not a member or Authorised Person of any NSE member. The notice is dated October 6, 2026. Investors get no exchange protection in such schemes.
Two handles that look almost identical. One name. One offer to run your trading account.
NSE put all three in a public caution on October 6, 2026.
Here is exactly what the notice says, and what to do if you already messaged him.
Who Is “Mohan” and Which Handles Does NSE Name?
NSE says a person named “Mohan” operates on social media and Telegram.

The notice lists three links:
- X handle: “My Trades” at x.com/my_trad3s
- Telegram channel: “My Trades” at t.me/my_trad3s
- Telegram handle: “Moh@n” at t.me/M0han_8
Look closely at the spellings. The links use a “3” in place of an “e” and a “0” in place of an “o”.
What NSE Says He Is Offering?
The notice lists three things.
- First, securities market tips.
- Second, assured or guaranteed returns on investment in the stock market.
- Third, an offer to handle the trading accounts of investors.
The third one deserves a pause. Tips only cost you if you act on them. Account handling puts your login in someone else’s hands.
The Danger of Account Handling & Sharing Demat Login Credentials
NSE advises investors not to share trading credentials such as user ID and password with anyone.
Your login is the key to your funds and your holdings.
Hand it over, and you lose control of both.
We explain how these offers usually play out in our guide on is demat account handling safe.
Why Promising Assured Returns in Stock Market Is Illegal?
The notice tells investors not to subscribe to any scheme that offers indicative, assured, or guaranteed returns.
NSE says such schemes are prohibited by law.
No genuine market participant can promise a fixed return. Markets move both ways.
A channel that sells certainty is telling you something about itself.
Our note on telegram trading signals explains why such channels are risky.
Is “Mohan” Registered with SEBI or NSE?
No. NSE says the person is not registered as a member of the exchange.
He is also not an Authorised Person of any registered NSE member.
NSE offers a “Know/Locate your Stock Broker” tool on its website. It lists registered members and their Authorised Persons.
The same page shows the designated client bank accounts that members have disclosed to the exchange.
NSE Investor Protection: Do You Get Safety Nets with Unregistered Handlers?
None of the exchange’s safety nets apply.
NSE lists three that will not be available:
- Investor Protection under the exchange’s jurisdiction.
- The exchange’s dispute resolution mechanism.
- The investor grievance redressal mechanism run by the exchange.
NSE adds that taking part in such schemes is at the investor’s own risk, cost and consequences.
The exchange says it neither approves nor endorses them.
Already Contacted “My Trades”? Immediate Steps to Protect Your Account
Stop all contact. Do not send money and do not share any login.
If you shared your user ID or password, change it now through your broker’s official app or website.
Check your trade book and statements for orders you did not place.
Save every chat, payment receipt, and screenshot. Keep the handle links too.
If money has left your account, report it on the cyber crime portal or call 1930.
If you only followed the X page or joined the channel, leave it and report it.
How to Report an Unregistered Operator?
NSE says Mohan is not registered.
That changes where you complain.
SCORES takes complaints about registered intermediaries and listed companies. It is not the right route here.
Start with an email to SEBI. Our guide on how to make a complaint with SEBI shows what to include for an unregistered operator.
Also file a complaint at your local police station with your evidence.
Conclusion
NSE has flagged one person across an X handle and two Telegram handles.
The offer is tips, assured returns, and account handling. NSE says he is not registered, and no exchange protection applies. The simplest rule is the safest one.
Never share your trading login, and never trust a promise of guaranteed returns.
Report. Recover. Stay Fraud Free.
