Quick Summary
NSE has issued a caution notice naming a Telegram channel called “Sankhat Bulls.” The notice says the channel is providing securities market tips. NSE states that the channel is not registered as a member or Authorised Person of any NSE member. The notice names no individual and no website. It also repeats NSE’s standing advice on guaranteed returns and trading credentials. NSE dated it October 5, 2026.
Someone drops a Telegram link in a group chat. Do you read the end of it before you tap?
This one ends in OCEANS_OF_PROFIT.
NSE has just named the channel behind that link in a notice dated October 5, 2026.
It says the channel gives securities market tips, and that it has no registration with the exchange.
Here is what the notice says, and just as useful, what it leaves out.
What NSE Says About the Sankhat Bulls Telegram Channel?
NSE names a Telegram channel called “Sankhat Bulls” at t.me/SANKHAT_BULLS_OCEANS_OF_PROFIT.

NSE says the channel is providing securities market tips.
That is the whole accusation in the first paragraph. The notice does not name a person, a phone number or a website.
A Channel Link With “Oceans of Profit” in Its Handle
The display name is Sankhat Bulls. The handle after t.me/ is longer: SANKHAT_BULLS_OCEANS_OF_PROFIT.
NSE does not comment on the wording, so this is our observation, not the notice’s.
The handle carries a profit-themed phrase that the display name leaves out.
A phrase like that can make a channel look more convincing than a plain name would.
It tells you nothing about who runs the channel, or whether they hold any registration.
NSE’s Standing Advice on Guaranteed Returns and Login Details
The same notice repeats two pieces of general advice.
First, NSE tells investors not to subscribe to any scheme that offers indicative, assured or guaranteed returns, since the law prohibits it.
Second, it says investors should never share trading credentials, such as a user ID or password, with anyone.
NSE gives this as advice to all investors.
The notice does not say that Sankhat Bulls promised guaranteed returns, or asked anyone for a password.
No NSE Membership Behind Sankhat Bulls
NSE states that the channel is not registered, either as a member or as an Authorised Person of any registered NSE member.
It also points investors to its “Know/Locate your Stock Broker” tool on nseindia.com. The tool shows registered members, their Authorised Persons and their designated client bank accounts.
Regulators have acted against other Telegram channels this year too.
Our list of Telegram channels banned by SEBI in 2026 shows what that looks like.
What This Notice Does Not Say?
This notice is shorter than most. It leaves several things out, and it helps to know which.
There is no person named, so nobody can be looked up by name. There is no website and no mobile number either.
NSE does not mention a police complaint, dabba trading, or any section of the SCRA or the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita here.
That makes it a tips-only caution.
It is a warning about an unregistered channel, not a statement about what the channel did with anyone’s money.
Three Protections NSE Says Won’t Apply
Page 2 of the notice closes off the usual routes for complaints.
NSE lists three things that will not be available for disputes with such prohibited schemes. Investor protection under the exchange’s jurisdiction is one.
The Exchange Dispute Resolution Mechanism and the Investor Grievance Redressal Mechanism are the other two.
NSE adds that taking part is at the investor’s own risk, cost and consequences.
It says the exchange neither approves nor endorses such schemes.
How to Check a Telegram Tips Channel Before You Follow It?
Start with who runs it. If a channel names no person, you cannot check anyone’s record.
Then look at what it promises, and what it asks you to share.
NSE’s advice about guaranteed returns and login details is a fair checklist.
Our explainer on Telegram trading signals covers how these channels work, and what to ask before you trust one.
How to Report the Sankhat Bulls Channel?
You can report a channel inside Telegram, and the notice does not stop you from doing that.
Save screenshots of the channel and its messages first. Keep any payment records too.
Our guide on how to report a Telegram scammer walks through the reporting steps.
Complaining to SEBI When Nobody Is Named
SEBI’s SCORES portal sends a complaint to a regulated entity. NSE says this channel is not one of its members or Authorised Persons.
So an email to SEBI is the practical route. Our guide on file complaint in SEBI lists what to include.
If you paid anyone through this channel, add the payment details to your email.
If money has left your account, speak to your bank and the cyber crime helpline too.
Conclusion
NSE’s message here is narrow.
A Telegram channel called Sankhat Bulls is giving securities market tips, and it is not registered with the exchange.
The notice names no person, and it makes no claim about guaranteed returns or passwords for this channel.
It does remind investors that NSE’s protections will not apply.
Before you follow any tips channel, check who runs it.
