Fintoo Wealth Private Limited: Why Its Planning Prices Differ

Fintoo Wealth Private Limited

Quick Summary

Fintoo Wealth Private Limited, which trades as Fintoo, holds SEBI investment adviser registration INA000020031, valid from 26 March 2025 and perpetual. Its disclosure shows one complaint received and resolved, in February 2026. The latest monthly data we found is for July 2026. The website shows a starting price of ₹4,900 for tax planning, but the plan itself shows ₹7,000. We found no SEBI order against the firm as of 14 October 2026, which is not a clean certificate.

You may have met Fintoo Wealth Private Limited through an app, a sales call or a tax season reminder, and now wonder how far to trust the pitch.

A brand name gets you through the door, but only the paperwork tells you who stands behind it.

This blog goes through the registration, the complaint tables, the pricing, the terms and the reviews we found.

Use it as a set of questions to put to the firm in writing before you pay.

What Is Fintoo Wealth Private Limited and How Does It Operates?

Fintoo Wealth Private Limited operates under the brand name Fintoo.

It is registered as an investment adviser and describes its service as AI driven financial planning.

Its pages list financial planning, retirement planning, investment planning, tax planning and risk management.

It also offers services for non resident Indians, including NRI taxation and help with income tax notices.

The platform shows investment options across stocks, IPOs, mutual funds, bonds, domestic equity and international equity.

It also provides calculators and tools, and access to advisers through scheduled consultations.

The Brand And The Registered Entity

You will see the name Fintoo on the website and in reviews, while the registration sits with Fintoo Wealth Private Limited.

A few reviews we read use a different version of the name.

That can simply mean the brand is used loosely.

Still, ask the firm which entity signs your agreement and which one receives your payment.

What “AI driven” Can And Cannot Mean

The firm describes its planning as AI driven.

The website content we reviewed does not explain where technology ends and an adviser’s judgement begins.

Ask who reviews the plan before it reaches you, and whether a named adviser stands behind it.

SEBI holds the registered adviser responsible for the advice, whatever tools are used.

Credentials Shown On The Website

The website highlights corporate tie ups, assets under tracking and client families.

The research did not record the numbers behind these statements.

Treat them as the firm’s own claims and ask what each one counts.

Assets under tracking, for example, is not the same as assets under advice.

Many Products, One Adviser

The list of options is wide, from IPOs to international equity.

An adviser may discuss such products, but SEBI keeps advice separate from selling products for commission.

So ask how the firm earns when you act on a suggestion.

A clear answer is that the fee from you is the only income.

Is Fintoo Wealth Private Limited SEBI Registered?

SEBI’s public listing, as reflected in our research, shows the firm as a registered investment adviser.

The points below are what the listing shows, and you should confirm them yourself before relying on this page.

  • Registration number is INA000020031. The INA prefix marks an investment adviser, unlike INH for a research analyst or INP for a portfolio manager.
  • Validity runs from 26 March 2025 and is listed as perpetual. The registration is therefore about one year and seven months old as of October 2026.
  • Address is B/309, Dynasty Business Park, near Sangam Cinema, Andheri East, Mumbai 400059. The correspondence address is the same.
  • Contact person is listed as Mihir Shah. The listing shows the same number against telephone and fax, so confirm that it works before relying on it.

You can run the check yourself in a few minutes.

A SEBI investment adviser INA number verify online lets you enter INA000020031 and compare the name, category and validity with what is described here.

A SEBI registered company search or a SEBI registered list on the regulator’s own pages does the same job.

Whichever you use, make sure the name on your payment page matches the registered name.

Registration shows that the entity is permitted to give investment advice.

It does not tell you how good the advice is, and it says nothing about the other services a firm may offer.

Fintoo Pricing and the Tax Planning Fee Gap

The pages we reviewed do not show a price for financial planning, retirement planning, investment planning or risk management.

A reader cannot tell what these services cost before engaging the firm.

The only price we found sits on the tax planning plan.

The listing card shows a starting price of ₹4,900, while opening the plan shows a one time consultation fee of ₹7,000.

Pricing comparison screenshot for Fintoo showing a tax planning listing price of ₹4,900 alongside an internal consultation fee of ₹7,000.
Fintoo tax planning price comparison showing the difference

Reading the ₹4,900 and ₹7,000 Figures

The two numbers differ by ₹2,100. If ₹4,900 is a discounted price on a ₹7,000 fee, the discount is 30 percent.

That is only one possible reading.

The page does not clearly show which figure is the original price, which is the offer, or whether GST is included.

Ask the firm to state, in one email, the exact amount you will pay, whether GST is added and how long the offer lasts.

Keep the reply with your payment receipt.

Why A Missing Price Matters

SEBI sets a ceiling on what an adviser can charge in fixed fee mode.

The cap is ₹1,51,000 per client per family per year.

With most prices not displayed, you cannot see where the firm sits against that cap.

You also cannot compare it with other registered advisers.

Items To Get In Writing

Before you pay anything, ask for these items in writing.

  1. The fee in rupees for each service and each period.
  2. Whether GST is added. A quoted ₹1,78,180 would equal the ₹1,51,000 cap plus 18 percent GST, so it would not breach the cap.
  3. What happens to the fee if you stop using the service midway.
  4. The account name that receives your payment, which should match the registered company.

Does Fintoo Wealth Complaints Data Add Up?

Complaint tables show how many grievances reached the firm and what happened to them.

The firm publishes three views, and each is read below with the numbers added up again.

The first is the status for July 2026, split by where the complaint came from.

Read the columns as pending last month, received, resolved, total pending, pending over three months and average days to resolve.

Received from

Pending last month Received Resolved Total pending Over 3 months Average days

Other sources 0 0 0 0 0

0

Grand total as reported 0 0 0 0 0

0

The three source rows add up to one received and one resolved. The grand total row, however, is shown as zero in every column.

That row does not match its own parts.

The average resolution time of zero days for a resolved complaint is also unexplained.

The second view is the monthly trend. It lists 17 months from March 2025 to July 2026.

Period

Carried forward Received Resolved Pending

March 2025 to January 2026 (eleven months)

March to July 2026 (five months) 0 0 0

0

Total across 17 months 0 1 1

0

Only February 2026 shows activity, and the total of one received and one resolved matches our sum.

July 2026 shows zero received, though the first table above shows one SCORES complaint.

That suggests the first table may show a year to date figure and not July alone.

The website does not say, so it is a fair question to ask the firm.

The third view is the annual table. It shows a single row for FY 2025-26 with one received, one resolved and none pending.

The annual table has no row for FY 2026-27, even though April to July 2026 appear in the monthly view.

That is a small gap, and it suggests the table was not refreshed with the monthly data.

How To Read One Complaint?

One complaint in about 17 months is a small number, and a count alone does not show quality.

The disclosure does not say how many clients the firm serves, so you cannot weigh it against size.

The complaint came through the regulator’s SCORES SEBI complaint system and was closed.

Ask the firm what it was about and whether it changed anything afterwards.

The tables also do not describe the nature of the complaint or how it ended.

A single resolved complaint cannot establish misconduct, and it cannot establish a clean record.

How Current The Data Is

The latest monthly figures we found are for July 2026.

Firms are expected to update complaint data by the 7th of each month, so August and September 2026 should have appeared by now.

The firm may well have updated its pages since our review.

Check the current figures before you rely on these.

In the sources we reviewed, we found no SEBI order against the firm as of 14 October 2026.

That is not a clean certificate, because orders can be published later and our search was limited.

Fintoo Terms and Conditions Worth Reading Before You Sign

The terms on the website include several clauses that a careful reader may want to weigh.

None of them is a finding of wrongdoing, and each is something to read against your own agreement.

The firm may update these terms, so read the version you sign and keep a dated copy.

1. Fee Changes at the Firm’s Discretion

The terms say the firm may revise its fee structure at its own discretion and do not state a notice period.

Ask how a change would be told to you, how much notice you get and whether you can leave with a refund of unused fees.

A fee you agreed to at purchase is the one you should expect to pay.

Ask that any change needs your written consent.

2. Suspension Without Notice

The terms allow the firm to suspend, end or restrict an account without prior notice in some situations, including conduct it considers inappropriate.

Ask what counts as inappropriate and what happens to fees already paid.

Fair terms spell out the reasons and the refund. If they do not, ask for them in your agreement.

3. Third Party Services

The firm disclaims responsibility for losses from interactions or transactions with third party providers linked to its platform.

This can leave a reader unclear where the firm’s responsibility ends.

Ask which providers are linked, whether any pays the firm and whether the firm’s advice covers them.

That question matters more if a linked provider sells a product.

4. Promotional Messages By Default

The terms allow promotional communication by phone, email, SMS, RCS and WhatsApp, and ask you to opt out if you do not want them.

Say so in your first email if you want only service messages.

Also ask the firm to confirm your contact details will not be shared for other purposes.

If a payment disagreement stays open after the firm has replied, the SMART ODR portal lets a neutral conciliator look at the papers with you, so keep the receipt and the replies together.

What Promotional Wording Does Fintoo Use on Stocks and Mutual Funds?

The website describes stocks with the phrase “Maximum potential for long term growth” and mutual funds as “Best for beginners and diversification”.

graphic highlighting portfolio growth strategies and advisory service modules for Fintoo Wealth.
Page highlighting portfolio growth strategies claim

These are short labels, and they sit without risk wording beside them.

SEBI expects fair and balanced communication, and advice that suits your risk profile.

A label like this tells you what a product aims at and not whether it suits you.

Stocks can fall as well as rise, and a long term view does not remove that. Mutual funds spread risk but do not remove it.

Ask the firm to show, in a sample advice note, how risk is written next to each suggestion.

A good plan names the downside as plainly as the upside.

Fintoo Wealth Reviews and What Customers Say

Reviews show how people experienced the firm, but they are only a few voices.

Our research found that app store reviews mostly describe login issues and technical glitches, and that the app shows a 4.5 out of 5 rating.

Reviews on the Google community platform describe more.

The five below are the ones in our research, and the dates were not recorded.

They are individual opinions that we have not verified, and the firm may dispute them.

We have paraphrased them, left out the names of any staff or third parties, and left out strong wording.

1. A Reviewer on Technology and Reporting

One reviewer wrote that the platform was often unavailable and that support felt slow.

They said portfolio tracking relied on a spreadsheet, that they had to follow up for recent SIP entries and that returns over the past year were below their hopes.

The same reviewer said there was no dedicated mobile app.

The research notes that app store listings exist, so this may reflect a time before the app launched, and you can check the current app yourself.

2. A Reviewer on a Long Relationship

Another reviewer wrote of three years of following up with the firm.

They said the answers pointed to market conditions, and that they felt no clear strategy was shared.

Markets do affect results, and an adviser cannot control them. The fair question is what the firm said it would do, in writing, and whether it did.

3. A Reviewer on an Account Migration

A third reviewer wrote that an account moved from another platform had not fully migrated after more than four months.

They said repeated calls to a relationship manager brought the same reply that it was in progress.

If you are moving an account to the firm, ask for a written timeline and a named contact.

Check the dates against what you were told.

4. A Reviewer on an Unlisted Investment

A fourth reviewer wrote that they put ₹5 lakh into shares of an unlisted company after speaking with staff, and that the value later fell sharply.

They said they received no follow up after paying.

We have no way to check this, and we have not heard the firm’s side.

If you are ever offered an investment outside the advisory plan, ask in writing who is selling it, whether the adviser or any group company earns from it, and how it fits your agreement.

5. A Reviewer on Services in the Plan

A fifth reviewer wrote that services promised at the time of sale, such as international equity advice and return filing for the family, were not delivered.

They said they received only a few calls in a year.

They advised asking the sales team to put everything in writing by email.

That is practical advice for any adviser, and it costs nothing.

Taken together, the reviews touch on reporting, reachability, scope of services and an unlisted purchase.

They do not prove a pattern, and five reviews cannot speak for every client.

Questions to Ask Fintoo Wealth Private Limited Before Paying Anything

The gaps above can be turned into a short set of questions. Send them by email so you have a written reply, and wait for the answers before any money moves.

1. What is the exact price, and what is included?

Ask for the final amount with GST for the service you want. For tax planning, ask which of ₹4,900 or ₹7,000 applies and why.

2. Which entity do I pay?

Ask whether Fintoo Wealth Private Limited signs the agreement and receives the money, and whether any other company is involved.

3. What exactly is in my plan?

Ask for a written list of the services, how often they come and who delivers each one. Reviews suggest that scope is worth settling before payment.

4. Can fees change after I join?

Ask for the notice period, your right to leave and the refund terms. Ask that any change needs your written consent.

5. How are disputes settled?

Ask whether the agreement sends disputes to arbitration. Reading up on arbitration in share market cases first helps you judge what such a clause would mean for you.

How To File A Complaint Against Fintoo Wealth Private Limited?

The SEBI listing shows an email address for the contact person and a telephone number.

Use email and keep every reply, even if you also call.

State your name, client ID or payment reference, the issue and the outcome you want within a reasonable time.

A written grievance with dates is stronger than a call.

Give the firm a fair window to respond before you escalate.

SEBI expects intermediaries to handle complaints in an orderly way, and your dated emails show you followed that sequence.

If the firm does not reply or you disagree with its answer, you have routes beyond the firm.

Our guide on a SEBI complaint against registered investment advisor explains how such cases usually run from the first email to a formal filing.

Keep copies of every reply you receive. They matter if you later need to take the matter further.

Disclaimer

This blog is based on the firm’s published disclosures and publicly available SEBI records as of 14 October 2026. It does not allege wrongdoing, and the firm is welcome to share its side. User reviews are individual opinions that we have not verified. We could not independently confirm the firm’s technology claims, its credentials, the reasons behind its reported complaint, or the content of any agreement beyond what the research showed.

Conclusion

Fintoo Wealth Private Limited holds a SEBI investment adviser registration, and the single complaint it reports is shown as resolved.

The harder part is the missing prices and the gaps in recent data, so your next step is to ask for them.

Before you pay, request the final fee with GST, the written scope of your plan, the agreement and the refund terms.

Ask for the complaint figures after July 2026, and keep every answer in writing.

Check the registration yourself, confirm which entity you pay and match the payment account to the registered company name.

If the firm answers openly and promptly, you have a better basis to decide.

If a dispute arises later, file the grievance in writing first and use the escalation routes in order.

Keep your receipts, emails and screenshots in one folder.
