AlgoLogic: Prerna Sharma SEBI Order And Registration Review

algologic

Quick Summary

AlgoLogic is an algorithmic trading software brand run under research analyst registration INH000006819, held by Prerna Sharma. SEBI passed a final order on 10 September 2026 that cancelled that registration with immediate effect. An earlier adjudication order imposed a ₹15 lakh penalty. The complaint data on the website stops at October 2025. Anyone with a plan should read the orders and ask in writing about the rest of their term.

If you searched for AlgoLogic because a demo, a video, or a friend’s mention caught your eye, one fact comes before pricing or features.

SEBI’s own orders now say the registration behind the brand has been cancelled.

This blog goes through that order, the earlier penalty, the software plans and fees, the complaint tables, the website claims, and the reviews we found.

Everything below about the orders comes from SEBI’s published record, and you should read the orders yourself.

Is AlgoLogic SEBI Registered After the 2026 Order?

The short answer is that the registration behind AlgoLogic was cancelled by SEBI on 10 September 2026.

The research we began with showed a listing dated 5 February 2019 with validity marked as perpetual, which is how the listing read before the order.

SEBI’s final order is in the matter of Prerna Sharma, Research Analyst, registration INH000006819.

It cancels her certificate of registration as a research analyst with immediate effect and directs that the order be served on her and on BSE Limited.

The order also notes that a separate investment adviser registration in her name, INA000007304, was cancelled on 11 June 2026.

We have not independently checked that registration.

Why A Listing Can Still Look Valid Online

A cancelled registration can linger on a website, an app page or an old directory for a long time.

A firm’s own pages are not a live record of its status.

That is why a direct check matters before any payment.

A SEBI IA registration check online lets you enter INH000006819 and see how the regulator’s records read today, so you can compare them with the brand’s claims.

A SEBI-registered company search or a SEBI-registered list on the regulator’s own pages does the same job.

Look at the status and the date, and not only the number.

What The Registration Used To Cover

Registration as a research analyst allowed the holder to publish research and recommendations to clients for a fee.

It did not make the quality of any recommendation or software signal safe, and it never promised returns.

With the certificate cancelled, ask what service you could lawfully receive under this registration.

If the answer is vague, treat that as information.

What the SEBI Orders on AlgoLogic and Prerna Sharma Say

Two orders matter here, and they are easier to follow when taken one at a time. The first is an adjudication order that imposed a penalty.

The second is the final order of September 2026 that cancelled the registration.

We have summarised them from SEBI’s published record and our research.

We have not added anything the orders do not state, and the firm may have a different view.

The Inspection Behind The Orders

The research doc records an adjudication order under section 15 I of the SEBI Act, 1992, reference Order/SM/SM/2025-26/31941.

It followed an on-site inspection from 20 to 22 March 2023 that covered 1 April 2021 to 22 March 2023.

The final order of September 2026 refers to the adjudication order dated 30 December 2025.

It states that the penalty of ₹15 lakh was recovered.

What The Orders Record

The orders set out several findings. Each is shown here as SEBI recorded it.

  1. The experience letter. SEBI records that an experience letter from a named brokerage was submitted to meet the five-year experience condition for registration, and that verification showed she had not been employed there.
  2. Video captions. SEBI records that captions and thumbnails on the AlgoLogic Live YouTube channel, such as earning up to ₹5,000 or making ₹5,000 daily, were misleading and breached the PFUTP Regulations.
  3. Research rationale and audit. SEBI records that algorithm-based recommendations were given without a documented research rationale and without the annual compliance audit.
  4. Disclosures. SEBI records that conflicts of interest and the meaning of research terms were not disclosed in recommendations sent through the software.
  5. The designation. SEBI records that the term Research Analyst was not used in client correspondence.
  6. Complaint timing. SEBI records that two complaints on SCORES took 60 and 154 days to resolve, against a limit of 30 days.

The Penalty In Numbers

The adjudication order imposed ₹15,00,000 in three parts.

They were ₹5,00,000 under section 15HA, ₹9,00,000 under section 15EB, and ₹1,00,000 under section 15C, which add up to ₹15,00,000.

The final order imposes no new money penalty.

The cancellation is the main sanction.

What We Could Not Confirm

We could not check whether any appeal has been filed against either order.

Anyone relying on this page should read the orders on SEBI’s website and check for later developments.

What Actually Is AlgoLogic and What Does It Offer?

AlgoLogic presents itself as an AI-driven algorithmic trading platform with automated trading tools, live analytics, and rule-based strategies.

It describes an Auto Robo service and a positional service.

The website says the strategies draw on technical indicators, price action, volume, candlestick patterns, and breakouts.

It covers equity cash, futures and options, and commodities.

It also says it combines technology, quantitative methods, engineers, scientists, and traders.

These are the brand’s own statements, and we could not verify them.

Auto Robo With And Without An API

The with API version connects to your broker through an API and has a switch to turn the robot on or off.

The without API version gives software access only.

Both come with WhatsApp support. Ask who answers on WhatsApp, in what hours, and with what authority to act on your account.

Positional Services

The positional service covers equity cash and the Nifty 500, with a minimum holding period of three days.

That makes it a slower style than the robot and calls for a different kind of patience.

The Live Demo Claim

The website offers live software demonstrations and says you can review the system with live market prices before subscribing.

A demo can help, but a demo is not a record of results over time.

Ask for a dated record of past signals and outcomes, including losing periods, before you decide.

Based In Alwar

The listed office is in Alwar, Rajasthan, at Kala Kuan, Aravali Vihar.

The telephone and an email on a free mail service are in the listing.

AlgoLogic Fees and Pricing

The website publishes a price list by duration, which is more than many firms do.

The table shows the stated prices, and the page says they are before 18 percent GST.

Read each row as the price for one package over the period in the column.

Package Monthly Quarterly Half yearly Yearly
Auto Robo with API ₹35,400 ₹50,000 ₹75,000 ₹1,00,000
Auto Robo without API ₹23,600 ₹35,000 ₹50,000 ₹75,000
Positional Services none shown ₹15,000 ₹25,000 none shown

The column headings state discounts of 5, 10, and 20 percent for longer periods. The rupee figures do not match those percentages.

Checking The Stated Discounts

Take Auto Robo with API. Three months at ₹35,400 a month is ₹1,06,200, and a 5 percent discount would give ₹1,00,890, yet the quarterly price is ₹50,000.

A year at the monthly rate is ₹4,24,800, and a 20 percent discount would give ₹3,39,840, yet the yearly price is ₹1,00,000.

The same gap appears for the without API package.

So the percentages and the prices cannot both describe the same base.

Ask the firm which one applies, and what the plan covers for the price.

GST And The Monthly Figures

The monthly prices of ₹35,400 and ₹23,600 equal ₹30,000 and ₹20,000 plus 18 percent GST.

That suggests the monthly figures may already include GST, while the page says prices exclude it.

Ask in writing for the final amount with GST, so you know what leaves your account.

What Each Package Includes

The With API package supports one segment, and all segments only at the yearly tier.

The without API package gives software access and no connection to your broker.

If you trade more than one segment, check that your plan covers it.

Items To Get In Writing

Ask the firm to confirm the following in writing, ahead of any transfer.

  1. The final amount with GST for the plan you want.
  2. What the plan covers and which segments it supports.
  3. What happens to the remaining term if the service stops.
  4. The name on the account that receives your money, which should match the registered name.

Should a payment dispute remain unsettled after the firm’s reply, the SMART ODR portal brings in a neutral conciliator to review your papers, so keep your receipts and emails in one place.

What Does AlgoLogic Complaints Data Reveal?

Complaint tables show how many grievances reached the firm and what became of them.

The firm shows a month-by-month table from April 2024 to October 2025, and an annual table.

Read the monthly table as carried forward, received, resolved, and pending. The rows below are grouped to keep the table short.

Period Received Resolved Notes from the rows
April 2024 2 0 Both pending at month-end
May 2024 0 2 Both resolved
August 2024 2 0 Both pending at month-end
September 2024 0 1 One still pending
October and November 2024 0 0 One carried forward each month
December 2024 0 1 Last pending complaint closed
January 2025 1 1 Resolved in month
February 2025 1 1 Resolved in month
Other months 0 0 No activity
Total 6 6 None pending

The monthly rows add up to six received and six resolved.

One complaint received in August 2024 stayed open until December 2024, which is about four months.

The Annual Table

The annual table shows four complaints in FY 2021 22, one in FY 2022 23, and six in FY 2024 25.

It shows nothing for FY 2019 20 and FY 2020 21, and it marks FY 2023 24 as not disclosed.

The three disclosed years add up to 11 received and 11 resolved, with none pending. The grand total in the table matches that sum.

The missing year leaves a gap between FY 2022 23 and FY 2024 25. The website does not explain it.

How To Read The Numbers?

The latest year shown, FY 2024 25, has the highest count, and the six match the monthly rows.

A rising count does not show quality, because the disclosure does not give the number of clients.

The slow closure of one complaint fits with SEBI’s own finding about delays on SCORES, but the orders and the tables cover different periods.

We are not saying the two are linked.

How Current The Data Is

The website shows data only up to October 2025.

SEBI expects complaint data to be updated by the 7th of each month, so a year of newer months should exist.

The page may have changed since our review.

With the registration now cancelled, the more useful question is what the firm tells existing clients.

If you ever need to take a dispute further, our guide on a SEBI complaint against research analyst explains how such cases usually run, and it helps to know the steps before you act.

What Does AlgoLogic Website Claims and Promotional Wording

Advertising by a research analyst has to be fair and balanced under SEBI’s rules. Some statements on the website deserve a closer look.

None of these adds to what the order records.

They are points where the wording could leave a different impression from the one intended.

1. The VaR Statement

The website says VaR is less than ₹3,500 per trade with 95 percent confidence.

VaR is a statistical estimate of a loss that should not be exceeded most of the time.

At 95 percent confidence, roughly one trade in twenty could lose more than the stated amount.

The page does not explain the method, the period, the segment, or the sample behind the figure.

Ask for the method in writing, and for the largest single trade loss recorded.

2. Client Testimonials

The website shows testimonial images and promotes live demonstrations.

If these show profits, they can give an impression of likely returns, which SEBI’s advertising rules treat with care.

A testimonial is one person’s result in one period. It says little about what a new subscriber should expect.

3. Scalable, Secure and High Performance

The About section describes the platform as delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

The page gives no objective basis for these words.

Ask what testing, audit, or uptime record sits behind them.

4. Software or Research

The website calls AlgoLogic an AI-powered algorithmic trading platform and an algorithmic advisory platform, and also presents a registered research analyst.

It does not explain how research, advice, and automated execution differ.

SEBI’s orders record that the firm treated algorithm-based signals as outside the meaning of a research report, and they found the lapses described above.

Ask which category a service falls under before you rely on it.

5. Social Media Links

The website shows Facebook, X, YouTube, and Instagram icons under Join Our Community, but they do not lead to working profiles.

That makes the stated presence hard to verify.

AlgoLogic Reviews and What Customers Say

Reviews show how people experienced the product, but they are only a few voices.

Our research notes a Google rating of 3.6 stars, and the four written reviews below are the ones in our record.

They are individual opinions that we have not verified, and the firm may dispute them.

We have paraphrased them and left out strong wording, and the dates were not recorded.

1. A Reviewer On Execution

One reviewer said they took a quarterly plan and could not recover even the subscription fee.

They wrote that trades were often followed within minutes by a WhatsApp message to exit.

They also said a registration number should not be read as a sign of quality or profit.

2. A Reviewer On Early Losses

Another reviewer wrote that they lost close to 15 percent of their capital in ten days, with most calls hitting the stop loss.

They said the software was not fully automatic because they had to cancel either the target order or the stop order by hand after an entry.

They suggested that proper backtesting should come before software is offered to investors.

3. A Reviewer From 2021

A third reviewer wrote that they followed the daily reports from April 2021 and took a six-month plan in September 2021.

They said the daily reports showed profits, but their own calls ended in losses.

They also wrote that they suspected the calls were passed on from elsewhere.

We have no way to check that and have not heard the firm’s side.

4. A Reviewer On Sales And Support

A fourth reviewer, writing in a mix of Hindi and English, said results reversed after they bought the software.

They wrote that the sales side was easy to reach before purchase and hard to reach afterwards.

Taken together, the reviews touch on results, execution, and reachability.

Four reviews cannot show a pattern, and they say nothing about the SEBI orders.

Questions to Ask AlgoLogic Before You Pay

If you are an existing subscriber or are still thinking about it, a short set of written questions can help. Send them by email so you have a record.

1. What is the current registration status?

Ask the firm to state in writing under which registration it now offers the service, and to give the date the status changed.

2. What happens to my paid term?

Ask whether the service continues, who provides it, and whether a refund of the unused term is available.

3. Which price applies?

Ask for the final amount with GST and an explanation of the stated discount percentages.

4. Can I see a dated record of results?

Ask for signals and outcomes over a long period, with losing periods included. A demo alone does not answer this.

5. How are disputes settled?

Check whether the agreement pushes disputes into arbitration. A look at arbitration in share market cases before you sign shows what that would involve.

How To File a Complaint Against Prerna Sharma?

The listing shows a postal address in Alwar, a telephone number, and an email address.

Use email, and keep every reply, even if you also call or use WhatsApp.

State your name, account or payment reference, the issue, and the outcome you want within a reasonable time.

A written request with dates is stronger than a chat message.

A reply that never comes, or one that leaves the problem untouched, takes most investors to the regulator’s portal.

Disclaimer

This blog is based on the firm’s published disclosures, SEBI’s published orders, and publicly available records as of 14 October 2026. It does not allege anything beyond what those orders record, and the firm is welcome to share its side. We could not confirm whether any appeal has been filed, the current status of any related registration beyond what the final order states, or the content of any agreement beyond what the research showed.

Conclusion

AlgoLogic is tied to a research analyst registration that SEBI cancelled on 10 September 2026, after an earlier ₹15 lakh penalty.

That fact should come before any price or demo in your decision.

If you have not paid, check the registration status directly and keep your money until you have clear answers.

If you have paid, write to the firm about the rest of your term and keep every reply.

Ask for the final price with GST, for a dated record of results and for the meaning of the stated discounts.

Read testimonials and the VaR line as marketing, not as a promise.

If the firm does not respond, move to the regulator’s system in writing.

Keep your receipts, messages, and screenshots in one folder.
