Quick Summary
FinZipp is the advisory platform of Valuefy Solutions Private Limited, a SEBI registered investment adviser, INA000000060, valid since 2 August 2013 and listed as perpetual. Its tables show 25, 40 and 6 complaints in FY 2021-22 to FY 2023-24, and 31 more between April and November 2024. The data then stops, with 3 pending. The website shows no prices and an old validity date. We found no SEBI order against the firm as of 20 October 2026, which is not a clean certificate.
You may have come across FinZipp as an app that promises advice without hidden fees or commissions.
That is a strong promise, and a record of complaints is one of the few places where you can see how a firm behaves when something goes wrong.
This blog looks at Valuefy Solutions FinZipp through its own disclosures and public app reviews.
We cover the registration, the complaint tables with the sums done again, the missing prices and the broad liability terms, then turn the gaps into questions you can put to the firm in writing.
What Is FinZipp and What Does Valuefy Solutions Offer?
FinZipp is an investment advisory platform operated by Valuefy Solutions Private Limited.
The firm is registered as a non-individual investment adviser, and it lists a BASL membership number of 1525.
FinZipp says its mission is to improve the investor experience by addressing biased advice, hidden fees and commissions.
It describes itself as 100 percent pro investor and says it has eliminated commissions.
Why the Commission Claim Matters
Under SEBI rules, an investment adviser takes a fee from the client and does not take commissions on the products it advises on.
So the claim describes how the rules already work.
What you can test is the fee itself, which the website does not show, and whether any group company earns from products you are advised to buy. Ask for both in writing.
The People the Firm Names
The website names Sharad Singh as founder and principal officer, Vivek Singal as co-founder, and Amit Kaushik as chief executive.
It describes backgrounds in technology, mathematics, and financial services.
Those are the firm’s own descriptions. The website lists Jeegesh Bhatt as grievance officer.
The Apps and the Documents
FinZipp offers mobile apps for Apple and Android.
The website links to terms of use, a privacy policy, an investor charter, FAQs, and complaint status disclosures.
Having those documents in view is a good sign.
Read them before you pay, and keep dated copies.
Brand and Company
The registration is held by Valuefy Solutions Private Limited, while the platform runs under the name FinZipp on a separate website.
The site says FinZipp is a brand of the registered company.
Check that claim yourself, and make sure your agreement and payment name the registered company.
Is Valuefy Solutions FinZipp SEBI Registered?
The research shows Valuefy Solutions is listed as a registered investment adviser. Each point below is what the listing shows, and you should confirm it yourself before relying on this page.
- Registration number is INA000000060. The INA prefix marks an investment adviser, unlike INH for a research analyst or INP for a portfolio manager.
- Registered name is Valuefy Solutions Private Limited. FinZipp is the consumer brand.
- Validity is listed from 2 August 2013 and is perpetual. That makes the registration about thirteen years old.
- Address is D 401, Tulip Valley of Flowers, Thakur Village, Kandivali East, Mumbai 400101, with the same correspondence address. The contact person on the listing is Sumeet Kumar Agrawal.

The Date on the Website
The research found the website showing a registration validity of 31 July 2026, which has passed.
The SEBI listing in the research shows the registration as perpetual.
The two should agree, so ask the firm which is right and why the website date has not been updated.
Then check the status on SEBI’s page yourself.

The Audit Submission
The website also lists the last audit report submission as FY 2022-23.
That is several years old, and the page may simply be out of date. Ask for the latest.
You can verify the registration in a few minutes.
A SEBI registered investment adviser INA detector lets you enter INA000000060, compare the name, category, and validity, and see the status for yourself.
A SEBI registration check online on the regulator’s own pages does the same job. Do it before you pay, and save a dated screenshot.
Registration shows that a firm may give investment advice. It does not describe the quality of advice or the fee.
How Many Complaints Has Valuefy Solutions Reported?
The firm publishes a summary, a monthly table and a yearly table. We read all three and added the totals ourselves.
The Yearly Table
|
Financial year |
Carried forward | Received | Resolved | Pending at year end |
|
2021-22 |
5 | 25 | 30 | 0 |
| 2022-23 | 0 | 40 | 30 |
10 |
| 2023-24 | 10 | 6 | 13 |
3 |
Each row works. Carried forward plus received, less resolved, gives the pending figure.
The Grand Total Row
The website shows a grand total of 15 carried forward, 71 received, 73 resolved, and 13 pending.
The received and resolved totals are fair, since 25 plus 40 plus 6 is 71 and 30 plus 30 plus 13 is 73.
The carried forward and pending totals add up year-end snapshots, which are not real counts, because the same complaint can appear in more than one year.
The real position is 5 carried in at the start, 71 received, 73 resolved, and 3 pending at the end of FY 2023-24.
The Pending Complaints Were Cleared
The research doc asked whether the 10 complaints pending at the end of FY 2022-23 were later resolved.
The monthly table shows no pending complaints in December 2023, and 13 were resolved in FY 2023-24, so they appear to have been cleared.
That is worth saying plainly, since it is a point in the firm’s favour.
The Monthly Table
The monthly table covers December 2023 to November 2024. Here it is grouped, with our own sums.
|
Period |
Received | Resolved | Pending at end |
|
December 2023 |
0 | 0 | 0 |
|
January to March 2024 |
6 | 3 | 3 |
|
April to June 2024 |
11 | 14 |
0 |
| July to September 2024 | 13 | 13 |
0 |
| October and November 2024 | 7 | 4 |
3 |
| Total across twelve months | 37 | 34 |
3 |
Every month works on its own, and the pending figure carries forward correctly.
What the Monthly Table Adds
The months from April to November 2024 fall in FY 2024-25.
They add to 31 received and 31 resolved, with 3 carried in and 3 still pending at the end of November.
The yearly table has no row for FY 2024-25.
So 31 complaints in eight months sit only in the monthly table, and the research doc did not mention them.
For comparison, FY 2023-24 had six complaints in the whole year.
A rise to 31 in eight months is a clear change, and the tables do not say why.
The Busiest Months
July 2024 shows seven complaints received, and November 2024 shows five.
The firm resolved most complaints in the same month, with an average of seven days in the summary.
Ask what the main subjects were, and what changed after these months.
The Summary Table
The summary shows direct complaints with 3 pending at the start, 2 received, 4 resolved, and 1 pending, an average of 7 days, and nothing through SCORES.
The research doc said the grand total row does not match.
On the figures reproduced, the grand total repeats the same numbers as the single row, so we see no mismatch there.
The summary does not name its month, but its starting figure of 3 matches the pending figure at the end of November 2024, so it may relate to December 2024.
Ask the firm to label the month.
The Data Stops in November 2024
The latest monthly figure is November 2024, almost two years before this blog.
SEBI expects advisers to update complaint data by the 7th of each month, so figures for September 2026 should have appeared by 7 October.
The page may have been updated since our research.
Check it again, and ask the firm for the current record.
How to Read the Record?
The record has three parts: a steady period, a quiet year, and a busier stretch in 2024.
Closed complaints tell you the matter was closed, and they do not tell you whether the people were satisfied.
The disclosures give no client numbers, so you cannot weigh the count against size.
If you ever need to raise a case, the guide on a SEBI complaint against investment advisor shows how such cases usually run, and it helps to know that before you commit money.
A search of SEBI’s public records found no SEBI order against Valuefy Solutions as of 20 October 2026.
That is not a clean certificate, because orders can be published later and our search was limited.
What Users Say About FinZipp
The research reports low ratings on the App Store, with two reviews quoted.
They are individual opinions that we have not verified, and the firm may dispute them.
We paraphrase them, and we have not named the reviewers.

Closing the Relationship
One reviewer felt the firm delayed things when they wanted to end the relationship, and warned others to be careful.
Ask in writing how a client can stop the service and how long closing takes.
Sign-up problems
Another reviewer said they did not receive a one-time password on phone or email and could not get started.
App access problems are common, but they matter if you have already paid.
Keep proof of payment and the time of each failed attempt.

What Are Valuefy Solutions FinZipp’s Advisory Fees and Pricing?
The website does not clearly disclose the prices of its advisory services. It also gives no breakdown of what each plan includes.
A visitor cannot see the cost or compare plans before subscribing.
That is the information most people need first.
SEBI allows fees in a fixed fee mode and in an assets under advice mode, each with its own limit.
In the fixed fee mode, the cap is ₹1,51,000 per client per family per year.
A Worked Example
Suppose a quote arrives as ₹1,78,180.
That equals the ₹1,51,000 cap plus 18 percent GST, so it would not by itself cross the cap, though the GST treatment should be confirmed in writing.
This is only a worked example and not the firm’s price.
It shows why the base fee and GST should appear on separate lines.
Convenience Fees
The terms refer to convenience fees or service charges.
Ask what these are, who sets them, and whether they are part of the advisory fee or separate.
Before You Pay
Take these four steps first, since each costs nothing.
- Ask for the fee per plan in rupees and the period it covers.
- Ask for GST and any convenience fee as separate lines.
- Ask for the refund terms if you stop midway.
- Ask for the payment account name and match it to the registered name.
What Do Valuefy Solutions Terms of Use Say About Liability?
The terms contain broad exclusions of liability.
They cover delays in transactions, technical failures, errors, unauthorised access to an account and investment losses.
They also say that if the limit on liability cannot be enforced, the firm’s maximum liability would not exceed the convenience fees or service charges paid.

Reading the Clauses
Such clauses are common in app terms, and their effect depends on the law and the facts.
They can also sit uneasily with the advisory agreement and the MITC, which govern the paid service.
Ask the firm which document applies to an advisory client, and how the liability clauses fit alongside it.
Unauthorised Access
The exclusion for unauthorised access is worth reading closely.
Ask what the firm does if someone gets into your account, and how quickly it responds.
Use a strong password, and never share your login or one-time passwords.
Questions to Ask Valuefy Solutions FinZipp Before You Pay
The gaps above can be turned into a short list. Send these by email so you have a written reply, and wait for the answers before any money moves.
1. What is the fee, with GST?
Ask for the base fee, the GST, any convenience fee, and the refund terms.
2. What happened in 2024?
Ask what the 31 complaints between April and November 2024 concerned, and what changed.
3. Where are the later months?
Ask for the complaint figures after November 2024 and for a labelled monthly summary.
4. Is the registration current?
Ask why the website shows 31 July 2026 when the listing shows a perpetual registration.
5. How are disputes settled?
Ask whether the agreement sends disputes to arbitration. Reading about arbitration in share market cases first helps you judge what such a clause would mean for you.
How You Can File A Complaint Against Valuefy Solutions FinZipp?
The website lists a principal officer and a grievance officer, with a dedicated principal officer email on the FinZipp domain.
The SEBI listing names a different contact person and email at the registered company.
Start with the firm by email so you have a written trail. Write to the grievance officer and copy the principal officer.
State your name, payment reference, the issue, and the outcome you want in a reasonable time. A dated email is stronger than a call.
If the firm does not reply or you disagree with the answer, the regulator’s online system is the usual next step.
The page on the SCORES SEBI complaint route covers what to attach and how a case moves after you file.
Keep every reply you get on that system, since they matter if the case has to go further.
For a payment disagreement that stays open, there is another route.
The SMART ODR portal brings in a neutral conciliator to go through your papers with you, so keep receipts and replies together.
Disclaimer
This blog is based on the firm’s published disclosures, public app reviews, and publicly available SEBI records as of 20 October 2026. It does not allege wrongdoing, and the firm is welcome to share its side. We could not independently confirm the current registration status shown on the website, fee levels, the subject of the reported complaints, the complaint position after November 2024, the accuracy of any review, or the content of any agreement beyond what the research showed.
Conclusion
Valuefy Solutions holds a long-standing SEBI registration, and the complaints in its tables are shown as cleared except for three pending at the end of its latest month.
The harder part is the 2024 rise, the data that stops in November 2024 and the missing prices.
Before you pay, ask for the fee with GST, what happened in 2024, why the website date differs from the listing, and how liability works for advisory clients. Keep every answer in writing.
Check the registration yourself and match the payment account to the registered name.
If the firm answers openly and quickly, you have a better basis to decide.
If a dispute arises later, write to the firm first and then use the escalation routes in order.
Keep your receipts, emails and screenshots in one folder.
